2008 Cadillac STS


Updates are found at last for the 2008 Cadillac STS. A restyled exterior including chrome fender vents and a much larger and more aggressive grille are among the changes, as well as a redesigned steering wheel.

Engine enhancements include a direct-injection 3.6L V-6 producing 302HP mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission putting all that power to the rear-wheels for the 2008 Cadillac STS.

Safety features were also updated, including among them lane-changing warnings to notify the driver if he or she drifts too far. An improved Stabilitrak system as well as a blind spot monitoring system has been made standard to comfort the occupants of the Cadillac STS.

The heads-up display and HID lights are now made standard on the V-6 model as well as the V-8 model.

2007 Cadillac STS

Changes weren’t very abundant for the 2007 Cadillac STS, it mainly retained all the features that once made it great and now make it the best.

Optionally the 4.4L Supercharged V-8 with almost 470HP is back coupled with the 6-speed manumatic transmission putting power to the rear wheels. The 2007 Cadillac STS is capable of over 20MPG on the highway, an absolutely incredible feat for a near-500HP V-8 that weighs in at over 4,000 pounds.

Keyless entry, cruise control, a navigation system, leather interior, remote and power mirrors as well as power outlets and power windows are just some of the many features found standard on the STS. One will even find a power moon roof for those cool, breezy summer days to their joy.

2006 Cadillac STS

A 2006 Cadillac STS is the ultimate performance and luxury sedan, with the optional V-platform’s 4.4L Supercharged V-8 this bad boy can push out almost 470HP to the crankshaft. With improved handling, the 2006 Cadillac STS is quickly making a name for itself as the best luxury sedan available today.

Drivers can push the 2006 Cadillac STS to 60 miles-per-hour in less than 5 seconds; especially helpful is the 6-speed manumatic transmission pushing power to the rear wheels. Large Brembo brakes, Pirelli tires features run-flat technology, fast steering ratio and incredibly stiff suspension are all standard features for the STS.

Optionally one can choose upgraded leather and suede interior, affording an even more luxurious ride for all.

2005 Cadillac STS

The 2005 Cadillac STS can be found sporting the new GM Sigma rear-wheel drive platform and accompanied by an optional all-wheel drive system making it the first sedan with the option.

A Magnetic Ride Control suspension, the fastest reacting suspension, is standard on the 2005 Cadillac STS affording it bragging rights against the top competitors from any company. Power comes in at two weights, either a 3.6L V-6 with 255HP or 4.6L Northstar outputting 320HP to the crankshaft.

Remote ignition and a double-over-head-cam variable-valve-timed engine are standard. Optional equipment comes in the form of a 3.6L High Output 320HP V-6 as a performance package. An active heads-up-display and Bose stereo system come in as optional enhancements on the Cadillac STS.
